Can a foreigner with tourism visa get free emergency treatment ?
An elder family member came to the USA to visit for 3 months. She has high blood pressure and is afraid of being sick during the visit. What kind of health insurance can she get? Someone told me the emergency room would accept the tourism for free, but when I called today, I was told that the hospital will send the bill later on and there is not free treatment. Also can my parents(tourism visa) join our family heath care plan? Thanks.
